This album began as a live solo performance during a lunar eclipse in 2022. Using a complex series of delays, reverbs and processing, the double bass transforms into an ambient orchestra.

The follow-up to the 2020 album, Meditations for Solo Double Bass, Meditations II: Eclipse represents a quantum leap forward both technically and in the themes explored through the music. Drawing from an ever evolving meditation practice as well as themes of birth and death, Meditations II: Eclipse is dark, warm, grounding and uplifting.

If you wish to use these tracks for your own meditation practice, feel free to pick a track or tracks of an appropriate length for your personal practice. The entire album is approximately 30 minutes, and works well for a practice of that length.
